DATAGOZ — Legal notice

Cookie Policy

What is stored on your device, what it is used for, and how to refuse it.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

In short. DATAGOZ does not use advertising cookies and does not track anyone for targeting purposes. The only essential cookies are used to keep you logged in and to secure forms. Everything else is optional and subject to your consent.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows us to recognise you from one page to another, remember your preferences, or measure site traffic.

This page also covers equivalent technologies: browser local storage, pixels, session identifiers.

2. Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be refused without making the service unusable, and they do not require your prior consent.

Last nameRoleDuration
Session cookie Keeps you logged in from one page to another Session, or 8 h
Anti-forgery token Protects forms against fraudulent submissions Session
Display preference Remember light or dark mode 12 months

3. Audience measurement

We want to know which pages are visited and which courses interest you, in order to improve the service. This measurement relies on aggregated statistics and is never used for advertising targeting.

DATAGOZ does not currently use any audience measurement tool. Neither Google Analytics, nor Matomo, nor any equivalent. No statistical cookie is placed on your device.

If we install one, this page will be updated before it goes live, and the tool will be named here along with its retention period.

4. Third-party services

Google reCAPTCHA

Used on the sign-up form to prevent automated account creation. Google may place cookies and collect technical data (IP address, browsing behavior) to distinguish a human from a bot. This mechanism is necessary for the security of the service.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to log in with Google, Google cookies are set during authentication. They are subject to Google's privacy policy.

Stripe

Our payment provider sets cookies during checkout, in particular for fraud detection purposes. They are essential to the security of the transaction.

Videos and embedded content

Some pages may embed content hosted by third parties. These third parties may set their own cookies, over which DATAGOZ has no control.

Policies of these providers: Google · Stripe.

5. Your consent

DATAGOZ does not set any non-essential cookies. No consent banner is therefore displayed to you: there is nothing to accept or refuse.

The only cookies used are those listed in the table above, which are strictly necessary for the website to function, as well as those set by Google reCAPTCHA and by Stripe when a payment is made. These two services relate to security and are exempt from prior consent.

On the day a non-essential cookie becomes necessary, a consent banner will be put in place and this page will be updated accordingly.

As long as the consent banner is not installed, no non-essential cookie may be set. Setting cookies without prior consent is penalised by the CNIL.

7. Durations

No cookie set by DATAGOZ has a lifespan of more than 12 months. Audience measurement cookies, where they exist, are kept for a maximum of 13 months, and the data derived from them for 25 months, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL.
