In summary. You subscribe monthly or yearly, with no commitment. You can cancel whenever you like from your account, and you keep access until the end of the paid period. You have 14 days to withdraw, unless you have started accessing the paid content and waived this right. This summary has no contractual value: only the clauses below are binding.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the sale of access to the online training content offered by DATAGOZ on the website datagoz.com. They apply to any order placed on the website, to the exclusion of any other terms.
Any subscription constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms, in the version in force on the date of the order.
2. Nature of the service
DATAGOZ provides access to digital educational content: videos, written materials, exercises and quizzes.
DATAGOZ is not a registered training provider. The content offered does not constitute vocational training actions within the meaning of the French Labour Code, and cannot be funded by an OPCO, the Personal Training Account (CPF), or France Travail.
If you are looking for fundable training, we invite you to turn to a registered training provider. Purchasing a DATAGOZ subscription is a personal decision or a decision made by your employer, outside of public funding schemes.
3. Your account
Access to subscriber-only content requires the creation of a personal account. The free lesson of each course can be viewed without an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your account is strictly personal. Sharing login details, simultaneous access by several people or reselling access is prohibited and may result in account suspension without refund.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Registration is reserved for persons aged at least 15. Below this age, it must be carried out by a legal guardian.
4. The offers
Discovery — free
Access without a bank card to the first lesson of each published course, to the detailed course programme and to the learning interface. This offer does not entitle you to the rest of the courses or to a certificate. It may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Full access — individual subscription
Access to all content published in the catalog for the duration of the subscription, to quizzes, progress tracking, and the issuance of completion certificates.
The catalog evolves: content may be added, updated, or removed. DATAGOZ does not guarantee that a particular course will remain available for the entire duration of the subscription. If a course you are currently viewing is removed, you will be notified and given a reasonable period to complete it.
Team — multi-user license
Offer intended for companies and organizations wishing to provide access to several employees, subject to a personalized quote. The specific terms of the quote take precedence over these terms and conditions.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are indicated in euros. They are inclusive of all taxes (incl. VAT).
Terms
- Payment is made online by bank card, via our payment provider Stripe.
- DATAGOZ never has access to your full bank details.
- The subscription is charged in advance, at signup and then at each renewal date.
- An invoice is made available in your personal space after each payment.
Payment failure
If a direct debit is rejected, a new attempt is made. If payment remains impossible after several reminders, access to paid content is suspended until the situation is regularised. Your progress and certificates are kept.
Price changes
Prices may change. Any change will be notified to you by e-mail at least 30 days before it takes effect and will only apply from the next billing date. You remain free to cancel before that date.
6. Duration and cancellation
The subscription is taken out for a period of one month or one year depending on the plan chosen, and it renews automatically by tacit renewal for a period of the same length.
Cancel
You can cancel at any time from your personal area, under the Subscription section, without giving a reason and without charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: you keep access until that date, and no further direct debit will be made.
In accordance with Article L.215-1 of the French Consumer Code, you will be sent a written reminder of the option not to renew the subscription, at the earliest three months and at the latest one month before the non-renewal deadline. If this information is sent to you late, you may end the subscription free of charge at any time from the renewal date, and any amounts paid after that date will be refunded to you.
Termination by DATAGOZ
DATAGOZ may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms and conditions, in particular account sharing, unauthorised reproduction of content, or behaviour that harms the service or other users. In such a case, no refund is due.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from the date of subscription to withdraw, without having to give a reason, by writing to contact@datagoz.com or from your personal area.
Important exception. In accordance with Article L.221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, this right no longer applies once performance of the service has begun with your express consent and you have waived your right of withdrawal. In practice: if you access content reserved for subscribers before the end of the cooling-off period, you waive the right of withdrawal for the period already started.
This waiver is explicitly requested at the time of subscription. If you do not accept it, access to paid content is only opened once the 14-day cooling-off period has expired.
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the refund is made within 14 days using the same method of payment.
8. Access and availability
Content is accessible 24/7, from a recent browser and an internet connection. DATAGOZ uses reasonable means to ensure the availability of the service, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation.
Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or due to external causes: hosting outage, operator failure, force majeure. Scheduled interruptions are announced in advance wherever possible.
A prolonged interruption attributable to DATAGOZ entitles you to an extension of your subscription for an equivalent period.
9. Certificates of completion
A certificate of completion is issued at the end of a course when the conditions are met: completion of the lessons and passing of the required quizzes.
The certificate shows your identity, the course title, its duration and the date of issue. It can be downloaded from your personal space.
A certificate of completion is neither a diploma, nor a professional title, nor a certification registered with the RNCP or the Répertoire spécifique. It only certifies that you have viewed and completed content provided by DATAGOZ. It does not entitle you to any equivalence or to any public funding.
The identity shown on the certificate is the one declared in your account. Check it before completing a course: a reissue due to an incorrect identity may be refused.
10. Permitted use
Access is granted to you personally, on a non-exclusive and non-transferable basis, for the sole duration of the subscription and for your own learning needs.
In particular, the following are prohibited: reproducing or distributing the content, recording it, translating it, adapting it, using it to train third parties, as well as any automated access to the service by script or bot.
11. Liability
DATAGOZ undertakes to produce its content with care and in accordance with best professional practice. This is an obligation of means: progress and results depend on the user's commitment.
DATAGOZ cannot be held liable for how acquired knowledge is used, nor for professional decisions made on the basis of it. The content is intended for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal, accounting or financial advice.
DATAGOZ's liability, should it be established, would be limited to the amount actually paid over the last twelve months.
12. Team licences
Orders placed by a legal entity are subject to a quote specifying the number of access rights, their duration and the agreed price.
Payment is made by invoice, at 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Any late payment automatically incurs late-payment penalties at the legal interest rate increased by a three-tier rate, plus a fixed recovery fee of €40 (articles L.441-10 and D.441-5 of the French Commercial Code).
Access rights are personal and may not be shared among several employees. An access right may be reassigned when an employee leaves.
13. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint may be sent to contact@datagoz.com. We acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and respond within 30 days.
In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute, after first attempting to resolve it directly with us through a written complaint.

Referring a matter to the mediator is free of charge for the consumer. It is only admissible after a prior written request to DATAGOZ that has not received a satisfactory response within two months.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction. For consumers, the jurisdictional rules protecting consumers under the French Consumer Code apply.
If any clause were found to be void, the others would remain applicable.
